the discarded

This girl is so smart!

She takes wallpaper remnants and discarded papers and creates fabulous journals.

I especially love these name tags (just when I said I was faux bois'd out).

Here at Found, Tyler and I love the idea of reinventing the discarded and left behind.

Evidence A.

a sad set set of granny-ish dining chairs beckoning a sexy and daring re-invention

Evidence B.

stumbling upon these gray gentlemen at a thrift shop, we knew that with a little David Hicks their life would be better

I think so, no?

O-o-o, kudos to the Tyler and Caitlin "re-invented" photo, a timely example of the theme of today's blog.

One special request, please. After watching the latest version of Mad Men, like Betty Draper, I'm mad for "Victorian fainting couches", or chaise lounges of similar ilk. Will you show us some of your favorite examples, and how you incorporate a chaise into a room, hopefully more pleasingly than Betty's effort?

In love with the David Hicks reinvented chair. I wish I could bring it home with me.
