every now and then caitlin and i get a burst of restless, creative energy which results in a facelift project for one of our pieces. for this installment, we've decided to update a pair of classic thonet-inspired bistro chairs with newly upholstered cushions and fresh paint. as far as the final details go, call us lazy but we'd like you to choose for us. please vote for your favorite of the following three options via the poll to the right, or state your preference in a comment.

leopard

leopard....i love you. in small doses.

i was perusing baker's new line of tony duquette's furnishings and spotted this little fellow

i love it, don't you? i can see him pulled up to a chaise lounge for one to rest a book upon, a perfect partner to your etagere, or a lovely resting place for your handbag. we have a little ottoman that desperately needs to be reupholstered and we think leopard is the answer.
