Friday Favorite: Lotus Flower GIVEAWAY!!!

Giveaway, you say?? That's right. It is a GIVEAWAY Friday Favorite! We thought our loyal readers would love to participate in a little fun and have the chance to take home one of our accessories here at Found. So, we picked a fantastic piece - the Lotus Flower - that is perfect for any coffee table or stack of books. All you have to do is leave us a comment about how you would showcase the Lotus Flower Candle in its best light in your home. Then, next Friday we will choose a winner from our creative audience!

These first two pictures below are of the prize. Start thinking about where you would let it shine...

I did a google image search for the lotus flower and I found some great design images. The variety of lamps below are fab.

I love this retro one in brass.

Check out the different shades of lotus flower wallpaper. What a great statement!

I'm certain the lotus flower would bring you sweet dreams...

This lotus flower rug by Mary Ann Williams is unreal. Lots of lotus!

I try to offer of bit of inspiration each week with my Friday Favorite images. Now it is your turn. Inspire us with your ideas and you might be the lucky owner of the lotus flower!

I'm looking forward to hearing from you :).

Cheers!

Morgan

I would definitely put it on my entry table with my orchid. That way it would great everyone as they were welcomed into my home.

I am still hoping I will see you girls this weekend! What day is better Saturday or Sunday?

xoxo

1)Draw myself a hot bath, appropriately, for the lotus plant is an aquatic perennial;

2)Insert Prince's latest,
LOtUSFLOW3R, in the CD player;

3)Light the exquisite lotus candle, and

4)Float to euphoria.

Let's see, perhaps I shall take the candle outside, place it on the table near the fish pond, and allow my koi to enjoy the illumination!

There's a cool 70s house on my old block in Dallas that I imagine has a sunken living room. I'd knock on their door and place it next to the sink in their guest bathroom.

Those lotus lamps remind me of the Artichoke Lamp. A friend of mine did a really cool reimagining of one with drywall.

I think I would place it on the first shelf of my ent. center

I would place it on my beautiful glass side table (for ample reflection - both inside and out), while sipping lianhua cha tea and reading Lisa See's Shanghai Girls.

The thing is---I live in a rather cold dreary climate---for half of the year---where this lotus flower candle would warm the otherwise long and seemingly endless winter. I keep fresh flowers as a reminder of the promise of spring and summer and this would add to the atmosphere that keeps me happy until the days lengthen and the air warms.
